A visionary aerospace company needed to transition from an R&D "garage" phase to a publicly traded, commercial entity. The mission required building a highly resilient, ISO-certified technical foundation capable of supporting real-time flight telemetry, global connectivity, and complex geospatial integrations.

Technical Highlights

• Nerve Center Architecture: Designed and delivered a 16,000 sq. ft. Operations Control Centre (OCC) and on-site Data Center, featuring enterprise-grade BGP networking, redundant fire suppression, and industrial cooling.
• Commercialization & Governance: Formalized IT operations by implementing ITIL-aligned processes and achieving ISO 9001 certification, migrating the team from "startup admin rights" to a secure, audited enterprise environment.
• Real-Time Telemetry & Monitoring: Managed the development of Google Cloud-based applications for real-time monitoring of drone health, battery life, and flight electronics.
• Geospatial Intelligence: Led the integration of advanced geospatial mapping solutions (Kongsberg/Geospatial) to enable precise navigation and situational awareness for national flight operations.
• Leadership & Scaling: Built and mentored a high-performing engineering team, bridging the gap between University of Toronto innovation and commercial delivery.
